Week of May 6, 2013

It's so hard coming back from vacation and getting back into the swing of things, work for Jaren, school for Hailey Bug.  Hailey had missed four days of school and came home with A LOT of homework to make up.  I think she almost missed doing schoolwork while she was gone, because she wanted to complete it all at once...what a good girl!  She had until Friday to turn it in, but I think she wanted to impress her teacher...haha.  The rest of the week was a bit of a blur, because of some sad news, which I will post after this. 

 

I LOVE the squishy faces this girl makes ♥♥  I have been trying to

take the girls outside to play most evenings. They love playing

with the neighbor girls, and it helps them get rid of some of their energy,

and us moms get to chit chat....it's a win win!

 Jaren is the BEST dad a kid could have.  He reads to our girls

just about every single night, and they LOVE it!

is sometimes a hard thing to accomplish!

 My girls are not the best at eating fruit and veggies, especially

Hailey!  When you pair strawberries with whip cream, it's much easier!

 This week was Teacher Appreciation week at school.  Hailey LOVES

her teacher, and we do too.  I volunteer a couple times a month, and I 

honestly don't know how she teaches 25 kindergarteners all day....I would

lose my MIND!   Thanks to Pinterest, we found this really cute

Target gift card thank you, and it turned out really nice.

 We made a count down to summer chain.  Hailey LOVES making these

chains for all sorts of occasions, and she loves ripping the links off even more!

 I babysat Raeley half the day, she used to live next door.  Addy was

SOOO excited to have her come over and play.  These girls played

AWESOME the entire time!  It actually made my day so much easier

because they kept each other company and got along perfectly!

 We had a baby bird in our backyard that could not fly, 

and they were very interested in it and watched it hop around.

 Such good little friends!

 Awwww she looks so sweet, but little do you know.....haha just

kidding, she really is a good kid!

 Getting ready to swim.  I love that this is one activity they do

together with almost NO fighting and bickering!  YEAH!!

 Craft time!  Hailey loves to do anything craft related.  We went

through Pinterest and she got to choose some crafts to do.  I need

to get to the store and purchase the goodies to make them, but until

then we did this fun little name art craft.  It was super simple, but both

girls loved it, and it wasn't even messy!
