Halloween Cookies

I love this time of year!  On Sunday the girls and I decorated Halloween cookies. We were going to do it the night before, but the girls ate too much candy, and there was no way I was letting them eat sugar cookies right before bed!  I measured the ingredients and the girls poured them in.  They both really love to help in the kitchen.  I need to relax a little bit and let them do more, but as every mom knows, it's easier to do it yourself.  They had fun rolling out the dough and making pumpkin and ghost shapes.  We were going to hand them out to neighbors and "boo" them, but we ended up eating most of them...oops!

Yummy cookie dough. I know I used to eat raw dough when
I was younger, but the thought of eating it know scares me.  The
poor girls, if they even go near dough, I'm like "aahhhh raw eggs!"

Cute little Hailey ready to make some cookies.

Good think I have two rolling pins or these
two would be fighting over it :)

 Such concentration...haha. Hailey was actually
really good at rolling it out evenly and making
the perfect pumpkin cookie.

Our little baker, Addy.  Love the flour on her face!

 Ready to bake.

Eating the leftover frosting from the bowl....mmmmm!

Stirring in the color.  Our kids are
fascinated by food coloring.

All baked and ready to decorate.

 Sprinkles.....yummy!

Kid tested and approved!
