Fall Break and other recent pics

Last week Hailey had Fall Break from school.  She was glad to be out, and I was glad to have her home.  For the most part, the girls got along, but they did have a few "lets try to drive mommy insane moments by bickering".  We mostly stayed home, but did go out a few times.  We got together with Kenningtons twice and Wigleys twice.  We ended up at Freestone park and Vertuccio Farms.  Hailey woke up one morning not feeling the greatest, but other than that it was a pretty good week. Next week is back to school, but Jaren is on vacation!!  I love it when he is off work!!

Hailey loves to help in the kitchen.  I am thinking
of getting her an Easy Bake oven, but am trying to
decide if it's going to be more of a pain in the booty
or fun for her.  I should probably skip it and just let her
help me more in the kitchen with cooking & baking, but
we'll see!  They look really fun!

Painting with water colors.  Addy wasn't too interested in
it this day, but Hailey painted six different pictures.

Fun with cousins John and Regan.  The kids rode bikes
outside for about an hour, even though it was hot that day.

 Popsicles to cool down.

I made a really yummy potato soup and the BEST ever
bread sticks, both from the new ward cookbook.  The girls
actually ate the soup!!  That's huge for us!  The bread sticks
were so yummy and easy, we made them two days in a row.  Jaren
is not huge on bread, but he said they were the best ever!

We made play dough.  The girls will spend hours
playing with it....yeah!!!

Hailey made a birthday cake!

This is our old bed.  We finally decided to get
a king sized bed and we LOVE it!  With Hailey in
our room almost every night, we have plenty of room now.
I used to make a bed out of blankets and have her lay on the
floor right next to our bed, but now I don't mind if she crawls in with us.
I loved this bed so much.  It was in a set that I bought when I was
like eighteen years old or so, so I've had it for quite a while.

Our new bed!  Luckily we found one that matched pretty
close to the other furniture in our room.  It was an ordeal
getting it to our house though.  This was the third bed
and they were all broken in some way!  This one the post on
the foot board is separating from the piece of wood...ughh.
The place we bought it from had such horrible customer service
though that we decided to just keep it.

Jaren made the girls homemade slushies in the Vitamix.

He added ice cream.....mmmmmm.  Can you say sugar high? LOL

The girls are still enjoying the bunny.  They love to feed
her carrots and lettuce.  Hailey man handles her so much
that she is pretty tame.  She pretty much lets Hailey carry
her everywhere, it's really cute.

Addy eating her first whole pear. I usually just give
her the diced up pears, but she wanted a big one.  This
girl loves her fruit!!

Hailey drew a chalk outline of Addy and then
colored it in.  She wrote It Is Her!  Addy! and then
wanted to hold her hand....so cute!  She was playing
hard that day....look at those dirty knees....haha.

Freestone Park.  The fish were getting the bread before the
ducks had a chance to grab it, the girls thought it was so cool!

Haha....Hailey was a little big for this ride, but
what the heck, why not?!

 Vroom Vroom

Awww I love how Addy put her arm around Hailey.  She is
our little timid girl.  Not sure if she thought this little car
was going to take off or what, but she was a little scared...lol.

 Cutie Pie

The girls favorite part of going to the
library is "playing library worker" when
they get to check the books out.  I think
they would sit there all day doing this
if I would let them...seriously!

Little BFF's, Addy and Raeley Wigley.  These
two play so good together.

 Addy, Raeley and Makenzie.

 Jayden and Hailey.

Makenzie and Hailey on the bouncy horses.

On the cow train, Hailey LOVES this little train.  She especially
loves it because when the owner is driving it, he makes a loop
and can high five the person in the back, which Hailey loves!

Addy and Raeley on the hay maze.

 On the spider web.

Poor Hailey had stood in a pile of ants the day before,
and her foot was itching her really bad.  I looked over
and saw her clawing at her foot, poor girly!

 Teeter totter fun!

The corn maze.  It was pretty hot and crowded this
day at Vertuccio Farms, so not as fun as usual.  By the
time we got to the corn maze, Reagan and I were ready to go home!

Jaren teaching Addy how to ride down the hill on her bike.
Hailey loves to speed down it really fast!
