Roasting Hot Dogs & Marshmallows

We finally got a fire pit!  We have been talking about it for a couple of years, but just never got around to it.  We were going to order a new one, but the thought of spending a lot of money on it didn't sound appealing, since it was going to look terrible after the first use anyway!  I checked Craigslist one afternoon and found one ten miles away, that was brand new, because the seller had two and never used it!  We got a really great deal on it!  We lit it that night, and the girls LOVED it!  We loved it!  It was so relaxing sitting around it, listening to it crackle, and having it warm our feet.  Hailey and Addy loved that they got to cook their food over fire...haha.  Addy, our little scaredy cat, was a bit leery of it.  Can't wait to light it again!  I think we are going to get a lot of use out of it, especially if I can call roasting hot dogs once a week dinner!!!
