Garden Update

Our little garden is plugging along, and so far the bunny has stayed out!!  We have caught her eyeing it, so fingers are crossed that she stays OUT!  I can't believe how much I've missed gardening! 

 The zucchini is getting huge!  At least the plant itself is.  We

haven't had any zucchini yet, but we do have blossoms!  This

was a favorite of the girls to pick during our last garden!

 

 The lettuce is growing much slower than the last time we

planted.  I think it's just a tad too warm for it still.  It will be

nice to have fresh lettuce!  I also have some carrots growing (at

the bottom of the pic), they have just started to sprout.  I also

did a second batch of radishes and added some green onion.

My two tomato plants have really taken off like crazy!  I

staked them up, but will have to do it again soon.  I've never

done tomatoes in the winter, but supposedly they do fine unless

it freezes, which I will have to cover them.  There aren't any

tomatoes yet, but TONS of blossoms!
