November!

Man, here I was just saying that I couldn't believe it was October, and now we are halfway through November!  Crazy how the days seem so long sometimes, but the weeks and months just fly by!  Scary is more like it!  Not too much going on here, same old crap, different day, as my mom says haha!

Hailey is still doing AWESOME at school!  She did come home with a note the other day, the second one this year.  The teacher asked that we talk to her about not being so social during class.  At first I was a bit angry at Hailey, for getting the note and not listening at school.  But, the more I thought about it, I decided it wasn't too big of a deal, though I didn't tell Hailey that haha! The poor kids were supposed to be in this temporary school for three to five weeks, and they are STILL THERE!!  This means they have NO playground!  They run around in a courtyard, which could still be fun, but they seriously need a playground!  Plus, she's doing SO stinking awesome in school!  Awesome at math, awesome at reading & the BEST speller!  She gets 100% nearly every test now!  Go Hailey!  She also is keeping busy with piano and tumbling.  I'm starting to dislike the extra activities though.  By the end of the day, I'm just tired!  Too tired to run kids around.  That's why Hailey is the only kid with activities.  Plus, Addy is too scared to do anything...lol.  Other than that, she is trying to work on her listening at home.  The poor girl, she just wants to have all the power!  I'm hoping we will look back and laugh on this down the road, but now, not funny at all lol. Good thing she's cute, or I'd have run away a long time ago...haha!  She really is sweet, and does the kindest things for people.  I think it's just a big competition for attention between her and Addy, and I hope they both outgrow it soon!!

Addy is doing so much better at school.  She went through a bout of anxiety and wanted nothing to do with it for about three weeks.  She didn't want to go to friend's houses, anywhere!  Luckily, she's pretty much over it.  She still gets scared to go places without me, but she is getting WAY better!  Other than preschool, she's my little sidekick at home.  Now on preschool days, I watch Elsie, and Addy loves it!  I love it because it gives her someone to play with, and she's not constantly saying "mom, mom, mom," and I get a chance to get more done.  They get along great, for the most part!  Addy has changed a bit lately though.  She has become little Miss Grouchy Pants, as I call her.  For whatever reason, she has developed serious attitude lately!  She better get back to being more herself, because there is not a sweeter kid than her!

Jaren is staying busy with work.  He has had quite a few late days lately, which is no fun, for him or me.  He usually calls on his way home, and that always makes me happy.  Most days, I'm just ready for him to come home and play with the kids!  Jaren is such a good dad, always wrestling with Hailey, which she LOVES, even though it drives me insane!  Her screams of laughter literally shake the house!  Silly girl!  The girls also love that Jaren colors with them, A LOT, and it's so cute!  He's also been sick a few times in the past couple of weeks.  He's been getting bad body aches for a couple of days, then gets better, then they come back.  Getting him to the DR is a challenge!  I'm determined to get him in for a physical though!  Other than that, he's staying busy doing things around the house.  It seems like there is always something to fix or buy!

I'm just chugging along here.  Some days I feel like I have my act together, as a mom, and other days I feel like I'm failing miserably!  I've been exercising a lot lately, and that definitely helps!  Pretty sure I need more sleep though!  I LOVE being a stay at home mom, and dread the day I have to go back to work!  It will be a sad, sad day...haha!  I feel like by the time the kids are in bed, and we watch maybe an hour of TV, which a lot of times I fall asleep during, there is just not enough time in the day to do the things you put off.  I would LOVE to learn more about photography, but I just don't make the time for it!  I'm thinking of New Years resolutions, and I think learning more about photography is one of them!

Other than that, not a whole lot is going on.  We are excited for the upcoming Holidays!

Random pics.....

The girls were laughing so hard, and when I
went in to see what was going on, Hailey told
me Addy broke her arm, leg & brain...haha!
These girls are so silly!

Every time I'm on the treadmill, Hailey
and Addy BEG me to get on.  Two days
in a row, Hailey walked/jogged a mile!
Go Hailey Bug!!

Addy fell in LOVE at the store....with this gigantic container
of cheese balls!  I cannot believe I bought these, but I couldn't
resist her cute little "pleeeeeeease"...haha!  I buy junk food, but
these seem like gross junk food to me for some reason.  It's
basically all the girls ate for three days straight, don't judge haha!
I will never ever buy them again, so cute little
Addy better not even ask!!!

 All ready for church haha!

Why not shop in total relaxation while at Sam's Club?!
Silly Hailey!  Jaren picked out those pillows, which I thought
I was going to hate.  It turned out they are HEAVEN!!  I seriously
think about my new pillow multiple times throughout the
day and cannot wait to go to sleep haha!

What the?!  They really do love each other?  Haha...these
two have gotten so good at fighting and bickering ALL DAY LONG
lately, that I was really starting to wonder!

Picking through Halloween candy.  After a couple of
candy arguments, we decided to dump both of their
pumpkins into a big bag, and there has been no more
fighting.  And, the candy is almost gone....FINALLY!

This girly is getting pretty good at piano.  She
doesn't always want to practice, and gets frustrated
at times, but once she understands it, she beams!!!

Playing Addy's Super Why game that she got last
Christmas.  Poor Addy doesn't understand how to
move spaces on the board the right way, and it is
VERY frustrating to Hailey.  She'll get it!
