Waffle Love

I've been hearing so much about the Waffle Love food truck, and we finally decided to try it out today.  It was pretty darn good!  I ordered one with nutella, bananas and cream, but Addy decided she wanted mine, little stinker.  The girls both ordered nutella with ice cream on theirs, and they were really good, but very rich.  So rich, that hours later, I still felt like I just ate it!  The girls thought it was fun to buy food from a truck, and eat it in the back seat of the Tahoe!

Video Games

The girls bickering has gotten so bad lately, that I have banned TV in our house until they can figure out how to get along.  I know kids will be kids, and I don't expect them to not fight at all, but seriously, it was ALL DAY LONG!  From the moment they walk their little buns out of their rooms as 5:30AM (for the past two months, this is what time they wake up, regardless of when they go to bed),  until it's time to get into bed at night, and every waking moment in between, they have been pushing each other's buttons, and it is literally driving me insane!  I'm not sure when they started fighting so bad, but it's gotten worse the past couple of months.  I'm happy to say that today was day three with no TV, and they are doing SOOOO much better!  Anyhow, even though they are not allowed to watch TV, they can play video games.  The girls have both played Wii Fit, which they love, but they've never played any of the actual video games we have!  I don't know why we never showed them!  We showed Hailey how to play Super Mario Brothers and she LOVES it.  She gets so proud of herself when she beats a level, it's so cute.  And they both love Mario kart!  Not sure if we are going to go from watching too much TV to playing too many video games....haha, we'll see.  All I care about right now is that they are getting along for the most part!!

Little Helper

I haven't been letting the girls help me make dinner very often lately, because as every mom knows, it's SO much easier to get it done without little hands!  But, they LOVE it.  I kinda feel bad that I don't always let them help when they ask.  I feel like I'm making them feel bad for asking instead of letting them and thanking them and helping them to feel like they are contributing.  So, I definitely need to let them do more in the kitchen with me.  This day, it was Addy's turn to help.  You better believe she remembered that Hailey was the one to help last time...haha!  That girl has such a memory!  Anyhow, she got into my makeup and dolled herself up before hand haha!  Cute Addy girl!

She saw me using the laptop to look up my recipe,
so she grabbed her computer...haha!

Making spaghetti sauce.  She loves to stir.

 Fresh radishes from our garden...mmmm!

Park Fun

For the past four weeks, we've gone to this fun park near Hailey's school four times.  It's the same park where her school held track & field day last year.  There are not even that many toys to play on, but the kids really love it.  We've gone twice alone, and took John and Reagan twice.  There is a really fun tire swing, and a huge duck pond that you can walk around and explore little paths, which the kids LOVE!  The weather has been perfect, and it's been so nice getting the kids out and letting them run around and play and be goofy!

Hailey LOVES LOVES LOVES this swing!!

Haha...I told her I was going to take a picture of
her in the baby swing and show everyone in her
class, she started screaming!!

Silly little Addy!  Love the faces she makes!

 Just taking a nap!

Addy was afraid of the swing at first, only
wanting me to push her a little.  After a few tries,
she loved going really high!

 Feeding the ducks!

There was a cute little squirrel in this tree that
kept coming out for bread, it was so cute!

Hailey and John on the saucer swing.  These two get so
goofy on here, and can't stop giggling!

 John and Reagan.

 Reagan and Hailey Bug!

Weeee....Addy still loves the baby swing!

 Ready to go exploring!

We came across this little fort area on the
path that we were on and John and Hailey
were so excited to go in!  It looked a bit creepy,
and Reagan said "say goodbye to your life"...haha.

One of the days I surprised the kids and stopped at
Krispy Kreme, they were so excited.

Haha...they started dancing after their donuts.
