Staycation

Jaren was off work for the week, which was a last minute thing.  It is so hard for him to schedule time off!  We are such procrastinators and couldn't decide what to do.  We finally ended up booking two nights at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak resort, and had a blast!  We are such weirdos, we didn't realize til after we booked it that it was the same place we stayed at last summer...haha!  The girls couldn't wait to go!  The room was so nice, and the girls loved the onsite water park.  It has a huge pool, waterfalls, a fast slide, and a lazy river.  I didn't bring my camera, so the pictures are from my cell phone and not too good!  I wished I would've had a water camera, because the girls were so cute in the water.  We had brought Addy's teeny tiny inner tube and people kept commenting how cute she looked.  She reminded me of a little duck, it was adorable!  Hailey was afraid of the slide last year, but kept going on it over and over this year, she LOVED it!  We had a great time!  One night we went out to eat at a little hamburger joint called The Habit Burger Grill and it was delish!  The other night we ordered room service, which the girls liked doing.  All in all we had a great time, and will probably be back again.  And on the plus side, staycations are awesome because you have very little travel time!!

The only shot of the hotel I took.  This was by one of the
smaller pools by our room.  The girls had a fun time
swimming in this and the huge hot tub.

Cute little sisters in their matching suits ♥

Addy was pointing out a bug
that she found in the water.
Playing swim teacher in the hot tub.

Silly Addy being a goof ball.....

 IHop breakfast....Mmmmmm.

This was funny!  The girls always ask for coins when we see
these donation things, because they love to watch the money
spin down to the bottom.  While Jaren was paying, I had given the
girls all the change I had.  Hailey came over to me and asked for more,
and I told her I didn't have any more money.  Just as I said that, a
middle aged man was walking by and handed me some change so the
girls could put it in.  That was really thoughtful of him.  When he walked
off, Hailey smiled and said "I wish he was my uncle"...lol.

Our dessert from The Habit Burger Grill.  The
girls loved taking ice cream cones to go!

Ready to go home!
