Addy Stopped Sucking her Thumb!!

Cute little Addy stopped sucking her thumb!She actually didn't start sucking her thumb until about a week before her eye surgery about a year ago.  She started because she saw Hailey doing it, and I guess she loved it...haha!  We didn't try to stop her because we figured it would help comfort her for her eye surgery.  With Hailey, we tried a few different things, but she didn't give it up until she was ready, and she had been sucking her thumb since birth!  I decided a week ago to try and help Addy stop sucking hers.  A week has passed, and she hasn't sucked it once!  It was so easy!  We made her a sticker chart, and bought her a toy that she would get after one week of no thumb sucking.  We also painted her nails with a bitter polish, which never worked with Hailey.  Addy was so excited to get up each morning and paint her nails again and put a new sticker on her chart.  Every day, she would count her stickers, it was so cute.  I was worried about nighttime sucking, but she did awesome!  One night I went in and she had her little hand wrapped up in her blanket, tucked in by her face, it was the cutest thing!  I knew she was trying hard to stop!  This morning marked one week, and she was able to get her shopping cart toy that she had been starting at for a week!  Go Addy!!
