Valentine's Day

The girls LOVE Valentine's Day.  Hailey was especially excited, because she got to have a school party.  The teacher sent a note home asking the kids to make a Valentine box.  We looked on the internet for ideas, and she came across a Minion box, from the movie Despicable Me.  I thought she would pick something girly, but nope, she had her heart set on the Minion, and I have to say, it turned out pretty cute!  Her party was on Thursday, since she doesn't go to school on Fridays, which was the actual holiday.  She came home with cute valentines from her classmates, and WAY too much candy!  We had our family Valentine dinner, for the second year in a row.  I bought cheesy dollar store stuff last year, and decorated the table.  We lit candles and had rose petals on the table, the girls loved it!  We had a super fancy dinner too....pizza!

Hailey writing out her Valentines.  We went
simple, a Barbie card with a sucker attached!

Silly girl showing off her Minion Valentine box.

This was the morning of her school party.  She
had woken up and made a Valentine card for Jaren,
Addy and I.  Hailey is so sweet and is always making cards!

After school, showing me all of her candy!

I attempted and miserably failed at making the
girls heart shaped pancakes for breakfast!  They
were WAY to thick, and the big one even had a
crack down it making it look like a broken
heart...haha.  Maybe next year!

 Their Valentines from us.

They were so sweet to each other for most of the day.
What better Valentine could a mom ask for?

Yes, I gave Hailey Easter candy for Valentine's
Day....haha!  She mentioned See's Candy being
her favorite, but that wasn't happening!  So, her
next favorite candy is Cadbury eggs.  I saw them
at Frys and couldn't not buy her some!

Jaren came home from work with a card and treat
for each of the girls.  I LOVE that he gets them
cards and writes a sweet little note ♥♥

Reading their cards.  I love that Addy's card is upside down...HAHA.
She was pretending she was reading it saying "I hope
you feel all better".  Silly girl!

 Daddy's treat to them, M & M's!

The girls "dinking" their glasses, as Hailey said!
