Our Disneyland Trip

We finally got to go to Disneyland!!  We had planned a trip with Jaren's sister Rachel and her family, but had to keep delaying it due to my back surgery.  This was Hailey's third trip to Disney and Addy's second, and I have to say, this was the best one yet.  It probably helped a lot to have their cousin Elsie there.  We left on a Tuesday, getting there very late.  We went to one park each day.  The first day was perfect!  The crowds were really low, and the weather was great.  The second day it drizzled most of the day, but it was still loads of fun.  I'd say about the last three hours at the park started to get tough, because the girls were starting to get wet, and it was cold, and they were tired!  We went to the beach the next day, which was also lots of fun.  All three girls got soaking wet in the freezing water!  We packed up and left the next day.  The girls were all excellent little travelers, and I can't wait to go back!

Some of the highlights of the trip:

Hailey becoming a total roller coaster junkie!  She was a bit scared at first, then wanted to go on everything, even the upside down roller coaster!  Just seeing her excitement and hearing her go on and on about the rides made it all worth going!

Addy was the only one not tall enough to go on a few certain rides.  So, at one point, her and I went off and did our own thing while the others went to ride some bigger rides. We stayed in the "it's a bugs life" area, where they have a bunch of small rides, perfect for her age.  She was in heaven!  It was the cutest thing.  We went from ride to ride, and she was beaming the entire time.  At one point, we got on the little bumper cars, and I let her drive.  She looked up at me and said "Okay, I'm the mom".....haha.

Going on the Cars ride...finally!!  When we went to Disneyland last April (I can't believe we went twice in less than a year, lucky girls), the fast pass would sell out in an hour, and then the normal wait line was like a bazillion hours long, so we never went.  It was SO fun.  We didn't get to go on it together, since Addy was too short.  But, we took turns taking kids, and loved it!

The girls picking out a toy.  Every time we have gone to Disneyland, we always let them pick a toy on the last day at the park.  It's so funny watching them try to pick one, because all of the toys look so fun!  The girls both picked something, then put it back and grabbed something else, then picked something, and put it back, over and over.  They each finally settled on princess toy sets.  They were really cute, but each one came with a MILLION teeny tiny pieces....just what every parent loves...haha.

Eating at IHOP three days in a row.  Yummy, and it kept our bellies full for hours.  The third morning something really sad and funny happened.  We ordered, and when they started bringing our plates of pancakes and french toast, they handed everyone one but Hailey!  I realized just then that I didn't order for her!!  Mother of the Year award right there!!  OMGosh I felt horrible!  The first morning I ordered for her, and the second she ordered for herself.  I'm going to use the excuse that it was busy and hectic, but man, I felt SO bad!  She had big tears in her eyes and said "where's mine?".  Man, I won't ever do that again.  Luckily, they whipped her up some yummy pancakes and had them to her in about three minutes.  Sorry Hailey Bug!!

Our little cuties, getting ready to head
to Disney our first day.

Haha...I'm not sure what Elsie thought of these guys!

I think they made Hailey a bit nervous too!

 Addy loved this thing!

Addy on the rocket ride.  She LOVED it!

Jaren is such a great dad!

Hailey shooting the targets in the Buzz Lightyear
ride, she's so serious!!

Dusty, Rachel and Elsie on Buzz Lightyear.

This picture is so funny to me.  Jaren was trying so hard to
shoot the targets, but Addy, with the sneaky look on her
face, kept turning the car so he couldn't hit anything...haha!

Cute little Addy on the rockets again.

 We saw Mary Poppins!

Carousel ride.

The tea cups.  This ride it was just Dusty and I and
the three girls.  We were spinning crazy fast!  We
are in the pink cup in the middle.

Elsie and Hailey stuffing their faces with cotton candy!

The girls looking at themselves in a funny mirror.
This was so dang funny, I had tears running down my face!

Dusty, Rachel and Elsie on the Jungle Cruise.

Also on the Jungle Cruise.  I love this ride and
all the cheesy jokes they tell you on it!

Cute little cousins with their suckers!

 In Minnie's house!

Addy and I with Minnie.  Hailey and Elsie
were afraid!  Not sure why Hailey was...haha.

Elsie literally carried her sucker around for about four hours,
until we were leaving the park at eight and she tripped
and it shattered into a million pieces!  Poor girly!

The girls had fun trying to lift this.

Trying to pull the sword out. Hailey
REALLY wanted to do this.  We had walked
by it and had to make our way ALL THE WAY BACK!

 Addy giving it a try!

 More fun on the carousel.

 Rachel and Elsie.

The girls playing with their princess toys.

Addy fell asleep twice without dinner....oops!  We had
ordered late, and she fell asleep, and there was no waking
her up.  We tried, but she was OUT!  On this night we
got them happy meals, but she had fallen asleep on
the floor on her blankets!

Hailey had gone back and forth from the princess toy
to this little bear.  We told her she could only get one,
and she picked the princess toy.  I knew she wanted
it so bad, so I was sneaky and bought it and we
put it next to her while she was sleeping.

At the beach.  I just love this picture.  There is nothing
better to me than seeing Jaren walking, holding
hands with our girls ♥♥
Hailey showing us her cool shell.

Elsie's first time at the beach.  I think she was excited!!

 She is just too cute!!

Way too many pictures to caption each one......

The girls playing in the hotel room the last night, Elsie was giving make overs...

Visiting the Dinosaur Museum on the way home....
