We LOVE dollar items at Michaels! The girls had
so much fun painting their bird houses.
Hailey is getting to be such a good little painter.
She puts so much thought into what color goes where.
After painting them, Hailey went and hung them in
the lemon tree. I told her the little hole was probably too
small for a bird to get into, but she did not let that deter her.
This craft was a bust! It was supposed to be bouncing bubbles
that you could bounce on your hand without popping. Even
though it didn't quite work out, they still had fun making it.
Hailey stirring the mixture for Borax snowflakes, a Pinterest
idea. Not much to it, just mixing a solution and waiting
for about a day for the crystals to form.
Addy giving hers a stir. This girl
LOVES to stir & mix!
Dropping our pipe cleaner it. We could not form a
snowflake shape, so we went with a simple heart.
Waiting....and waiting.....and waiting.
Tada.....this is what they looked like in the morning.
The girls were VERY excited!
Pretty cool!
Our next craft was another easy one, lemon
scented play dough. My girls NEVER tire
of playing with this stuff, I just hate the mess
it leaves when there are dried up play dough
crumbs all over the house. But....it's worth
it for the fun they have!
Hailey made a bake shop, with cookies, cakes and candies.
The girls making giant bubble solution. We might not have let
it sit long enough, because the giant bubbles were not forming.
We were able to make lots of smaller bubbles though, and I
think they had just as much fun, especially because John
and Reagan were over to play!
Little helper Addy.
Time for the soap.
