Week of June 25th, 2012

Not much went on Monday. Went to visit Nana & Papa, then came back and had Makenzey over to play for awhile. Hailey and I swam while Addy to a loooong nap, two and a half hours! I could get used to that. Then it was dinner and ice cream cones for dessert...yummy!! Tuesday us girls headed to the library. While we were there, we saw Ronald McDonald! Hailey was all excited to see him. When they announced over the intercom that they were having an activity, Hailey begged to go. So....we went and joined in. It was a little comedy skit that was actually pretty funny. Even though Hailey enjoyed seeing him, she didn't want to get to close...haha. After that Makenzey came to play for a bit, and then the girls made mud pies out in the backyard. They had a blast! Wednesday we went to the park at 8 o'clock in the morning and we were dripping with sweat. I cannot wait until summer is over. After that we decided to go to the splash pad. The girls had a blast and got soaked. We went swimming that evening and the girls went to bed early while Jaren and I watched a movie. Thursday we went to the library again for a book I had on hold. After that we made slime! It was a recipe I saw on Pinterest and Hailey had lot's of fun with it, for like TWO HOURS!! Thursday we stayed home all day. Friday we stayed home all day until the evening, Autumn came to babysit while Jaren and I got to go out to dinner. I love our dinner dates! That night the girls stayed up til almost nine, which is late for them. We bought Hailey a harmonica and she was playing it and singing and we were all laughing so hard. I haven't seen Hailey giggle that much in a long time. There was pure joy on her face! Saturday we got up early and Jaren did yard work and fixed the breaks on the car. Us girls went to a garage sale and bought Hailey some tap shoes. Addy has been wearing Hailey's old shoes, and Hailey has been wanting a pair. It was a garage sale held by her dance teacher, so we knew she would have tap shoes. Now both girls can tap together! After that we went to Lowes to get summer flowers to plant, since our winter ones had died off. That night the girls got to stay up REALLY late! Eleven PM! There was a fireworks display for Fourth of July downtown Mesa. We went to that, and visited with some of Jaren's relatives that were there. Addy got to see fireworks for the first time, she wasn't afraid, but definitley wanted to be sitting on our laps. Hailey met Jaren's nieces's daughter Emily for the first time, and they became instant best friends. It was so cute! Both girls fell asleep within five minutes on the ride home. Sunday we hung out around the house, Jaren did yard work and went swimming with Hailey. Us girls went to visit Nana & Papa. After that it was dinner and early to bed!!
