Sickness

Both girls got horrible colds in February.  Hailey recovered from hers pretty quickly, but Addy's turned into a really bad respiratory infection.  Poor girl could not stop coughing up mucus. We took her to urgent care and they gave her antibiotics for a possible ear infection.  Then a day or so later, she started sneezing constantly.  I'm not talking about sneezing a bunch throughout the day, she was literally doing it a hundred times an hour.  She could not stop, and it was making her miserable.  I took her back to urgent care, and she was holding them in, so they didn't even know what to think.  I was the crazy mom taking her kid to urgent care for non stop sneezing, and here she was, not sneezing haha.  The moment we left, she started up again.  I was at a loss.  The next couple of days, we gave her Benadryl, and it slowly got less and less until it stopped.  She was still having a really hard time breathing, so we took her to her normal doctor.  The doctor suspected pneumonia, and ordered X Rays.  Luckily she did not have pneumonia, just a bad viral infection.  They gave her some meds to help her get better.  Poor thing, she was miserable.

feeling better at this point, but not Addy.

For Valentine's day class treats, we ordered a huge pack of fifty

punch balloons.  The girls were excited to hand some out

to their little neighborhood friends.

 We bought new couches and gave our old ones to Jim

and Gwen.  Addy and John got to ride over to their

house (once we got into the neighborhood) on the old ones.

Addy Lose's First Tooth

We thought Addy's first wiggly tooth was going to come out on Christmas Eve, but it's been hanging on ever since.  I thought she'd be brave and yank it out, but the more loose it became, the more nervous she seemed about it.  It literally could twist almost all the way around in her mouth!  Fast forward almost six weeks, and it came out while she was eating a popsicle.  She was SO excited.  We didn't realize her big tooth was already growing in behind it.  It came in so fast, that we didn't get to enjoy that gummy smile at all, which made me sad. I love kids with missing teeth, it's so cute!

 She got two dollars and a

new Beenie Boo.  Poor girl had been

so sick, and you can tell in her face. 

Valentine's Day

 Hailey making her Valentine box for school.  Addy didn't have

to make one this year.  Her teacher just made little paper

folders so it would be easier for the kids.

 We got them a new Beenie Boo and some chocolate.
