Lately

Wow, I can't believe school has been in session for over three weeks now!  The thought of Fall weather makes me so happy!!  Both girls are doing excellent in school.  Hailey is loving second grade, and is doing good in her temporary school.  The new school should be done in the next few weeks, which will be exciting for the kids.  They don't really have a lot of room for recess and PE, so the new gym will be really nice!  Hailey always has great things to say about her day when she gets home, and she ALWAYS talks about her friend named Eden.  Addy is LOVING preschool!  She asks me every day, "do I go to school today?"  She happily does her homework, which is a laminated folder where she gets to practice her letters, numbers, shapes and name.  I'm so happy she is learning and having fun!  Plus, she's turning into such a big girl.  The little girl who wouldn't go anywhere by herself is now walking into school without saying bye!!  After school the girls usually play and bicker and drive me NUTS!  I love it so much when they get along and play like best friends, but man, lately it's more bickering than playing!  I'm trying to get most of my stuff done during the day so I can play with them and give them my full attention during the afternoon, but that's hard when you have dinner to make and things to get done!  I realized the other day that they hadn't swam in weeks, so I'm trying to make an effort to get them out there in the afternoons.  Running/swimming off some of that energy definitely helps!

Can't wait to embarrass Hailey with this picture
when she's older...haha!  Found her reading with
toilet paper stuck up her little nose!!

More splash pad fun!  Love having Fridays off school so
we can go on outings and not have crowds!!

My strawberry deal!!  I was going to by them at my regular store,
but they were $2.50 each.  I went to the little farmers market that
I usually hate (because the food is too ripe) and scored sixteen
packs of strawberries for under six dollars!  And, they were not too
ripe at all!  They were flying off the shelves.  I froze most of
them for my new smoothie recipe that I am hooked on! Just before
I left to buy them, Addy was crying that we didn't have any strawberries!
Boy was she excited when I showed up with all of these!!
I was cleaning up the dinner dishes when I came across
this in the toaster oven!  Silly girls.  I love finding random
things like this that make me smile!  Lettuce, bologna,
bread and a cinnamon roll, mmmmmm!

This little cutie got all cozy on our bed to watch her
FAVORITE show, Guess How Much I Love You, and
fell asleep.  Her fun day of school and swimming wiped her out!

She LOVES to do her homework!

 Fun at Bass Pro!

Getting the party favors ready for Addy's upcoming party!

Addy and cousin Hannah filling the pinata.  You would think
stuffing candy into the little hole of the pinata would be
boring, but not for these two!  They had a blast!!
