Hailey's first day of SECOND grade!!!

It's for real...we have a second grader in the house!!!  Hailey's charter school is actually in the process of having a school built, and unfortunately it wasn't finished in time for the school year, which is really a bummer.  For approx five weeks, her school is being held at a church, in some extra buildings they have.  I was a bit nervous for her to go there, but it's a decent set up.  They have actuall classrooms, but unfortunately, no playground or real place to do P.E.  At least it's temporary, and the kids will be SO excited for their new school to be finished.  Another plus, her cousins switched to this school, and now she has her cousin John in her class!  They play so well together, for the most part, but do like to wrestle...haha, so hopefully we won't be getting called to the principals office!! 

We went Monday to meet her teacher, and Hailey loved her.  She had met her last year, and knew all summer who her teacher was going to be.  School started on Tuesday, one day earlier than most of the other Mesa schools.  She had a great first day, and was excited to see so many of the students that were in her first grade class.  So, for now it's just Addy and I until Addy starts preschool next week!  I'm excited to get into some sort of a routine again, and for Fall weather to hurry and get here!  Hopefully less than three months of heat left!
