This creature is outside the museum. I told the girls to climb
on it before I realized it was made out of paper....oops haha. I
think lots of others did the same thing, because it was falling apart.
Hailey had so much fun climbing on the
big fort / treehouse. It was AWESOME, but
a bit scary in some places.
This boat is suspended from the fort. You can get
inside it, and from below you can see these legs
hanging out. Hailey came up to me and said
"mom, there's dead legs hanging from the boat"...haha.
This tube contraption was so cool, even I wanted
to play with it. You take the scarves and put them in a
little opening and is sucks them up really fast and spits
them out the top. The girls had fun trying to catch the scarves.
Jaren climbing up in the fort, such a good dad!
Addy was amazed at how this ball would hover over
the tube. She had so much fun, until she had an accident
and peed all over the floor....whoops! Poor girl, she was
having too much fun. Good thing I had extra clothes. I
felt bad that the young girl working there had to clean it, but
she said not to worry at all, it happens at least once a day!
Addy is our little timid girl. It took some convincing to get
her to play in the fort, but once she did, she loved it. The
girls especially loved this big bathtub near the top.
Catching the scarves!
Hailey ran to the top of the stairs and
immediately went into a pose...haha.
This is how Addy does stairs...so cute!
Playing with sand in the light box.
One of Addy's favorite sections was the
trike car wash. It was really cute. Kids would
line up on their trikes and push cars and go
through a little mock car washer. It was really
cute. Hailey got a little crazy on her trike a few
times...haha, but she wasn't the only one. We
had to visit this section a few times, they loved
it so much.
The fort room. This is a room loaded with sheets, blankets,
pillows, doors and little rooms to make forts, pretty cool.
This made lots of click clack
noises when you dropped the ball.
I felt bad, but it was funny too. Hailey saw this
play ice cream station from a distance and got all
excited and screamed "Mommy, they have snow
cones!!" Poor girl LOVES snow cones. But, she
was just as excited to play with it.
This was my favorite, the noodle forest. TONS of pool
noodles hanging from the ceiling. It was pretty cool. On
the other side was another little play room.
Jaren making his way through.
Addy loved the bright colors on this window.
Playing with Magnatiles on the light
box. This was pretty cool. I almost bought
these for my girls last year for Christmas, but
they are SO expensive!
Jaren relaxing!
The fort from the third floor. It is SO high!
This wall is covered with CD's,
looked pretty cool.
They had a little reading section, with really
cool little reading nooks.
Putting a puzzle together.
This was funny. This is the bathroom mirror. There
are tons of little squares of mirrors, and I told Addy
"look, there's a million Addy's". She thought it was so funny.
Enjoying their lunch.
The girls and I.
The building used to be an old school. Jaren and I thought
it would be a cool school!
♥♥Love these pics♥♥
Painting in the craft room. We probably
spent about an hour in there, lots of fun.
Wall of painted shoes.
This was in the play pizza restaurant. It was so cute. Jaren and I
sat in a booth, and Hailey was playing our waitress. It was so
funny to listen to the silly things she would come up with. They
loved the play pizza oven. She even got random kids to make
us pizzas...haha. It was funny.
Addy playing pipes.
They had a play store that was the cutest thing ever. There were lots of shelves with play food on them. The kids were running around, loading up their carts. Then they would go to the play cashier and ring them up. Afterwards, they would take their groceries to this station with rolling belts where more kids would put them in huge carts and go restock the shelves. The kids were rushing around like little ants at work, it was SO funny! Jaren said he was glad kids didn't run the grocery stores...haha.
This little boy was so stinking funny! He was the fastest
little cashier ever. He kept dropping items left and right,
and that made him laugh even more. So cute!!
Hailey asked us if we needed help finding
anything, and then said "I have to go sweep floors now"...haha.
Addy on the go in the store.
Dumping their groceries to be restocked.
They would dump them in that big cart and
rush off to stock the shelves, so cute!
I just thought this was cool. This was the side of a building
that we saw on our way to the museum, all sorts of street signs.
You are such a fun mom! And Jared is a fun dad!! You do so many memorable activities with your girls. I need to take lessons from you! :)
ReplyDeleteAwww you're too nice! I go in phases...haha. We don't do anything in forever, and then I get the bug to get out. This museum is awesome though. If you go, def don't go on a weekday morning because of field trips. If you look up their website, it tells you the best days and times. Your girls would LOVE the play kitchen and restaurant!
