Fruit Smoothies....

Jaren and I are trying to eat healthier these days.  Not dieting, just trying to make better choices.  Nothing is "off limits" for me, I'm just trying to enjoy those kinds of foods less often.  Lucky for me, Jaren got the idea that we should get a Vitamix.  Holy cow, why did it take us ten years to buy one?  That thing is AMAZING!!  And the best part is the cleanup, it literally takes thirty seconds and BAM, it's sparkly clean again.  We were going through fruit and veggies like CRAZY, so I decided to go to Superstition Ranch Market to load up on stuff, and freeze it in bags of "ready to go smoothies".  NEVER AGAIN!!!  The prices on the fruit & veggies was awesome, an entire cart, overflowing, for thirty-five bucks.  I'm saying never again because it took me a bazillion years to wash it all, cut it up, and label and portion the bags.  The girls tried helping, but we ended up with slimy mango and all sorts of other fruit on my freshly mopped floor....ahhhhh!!  But, it is very convenient to just pop a bag into the Vitamix and blend away.  So, even though I say never again, I most likely will, once these sixty or so smoothies are gone!
