Fun at Vertuccio Farms

Vertuccio Farms is a little family owned farm in Mesa that we love to go to in the Fall.  They have lots of things for the girls to do, and they love it.  For their opening day of the season, you could get in free if you came at 7:30, so that's what we did.  The girls had a blast, and the news was even there filming, and the girls were on tv.  Lots of fun, and we bought season passes, so we will definitely be going back since Hailey has Fridays off from school.

the weather is cooling off and we can enjoy getting out.

 This was new this year, duck races.  You had to use the

red pump to pump enough water so your duck would

go swimming down the pipe, they loved it.

Spa Day

We have decided that Hailey MUST stop sucking her thumb.  The poor girl, she is just so used to it and comforted by it, and it's been almost seven years, so I'm sure it is very difficult for her to stop.  We have tried many ways of bribing her, even a puppy!!  Nothing has worked, so we are having to use the gross tasting nail polish.  We tried it before, but were not very consistent with it.  In fact, when Hailey heard we were going to be using it, it suddenly disappeared.....hmmmmmm, a little suspicious...haha.  I had to buy a new bottle, for $14 bucks!!  Anyhow, three days later and Addy is not sucking hers at all.  She was actually doing it way more than Hailey!  Hailey has had a couple of meltdowns over it, but I think this is it.  She said "Mommy, I never thought I'd say this, but I actually want to paint my nails with that stuff".  Anyhow, to get them excited over the nail polish, we went and bought some fun colors and had a little spa fun!

Freestone Park

Freestone Park officially opened their little carnival section for their "fall season", so the girls and I headed over for some fun.  They were open one weekend a few weeks ago, and the girls had so much fun and couldn't wait to go back.  It was EXTREMELY hot, but they had a blast anyway.  When we were done the girls had ten bucks to spend, so we ran to Target.  They found a princess pool on clearance!
