Halloween

The girls were so excited for Halloween this year.  Addy used an old witch costume of Hailey's, and Hailey chose a new costume, a witch sorcerer.  Addy went for the "cute" look, but Hailey wanted some creepy makeup.  The poor girl, she was fine at first, but she had a reaction to the face paint and it burned her skin.  We ended up going to our ward Halloween party a couple of days before Halloween, which was fun.  The girls got a ton of candy!  Halloween was on a Monday, so we didn't stay out too long.  We had a pizza party a few doors down.  Every year, you pitch in money and have pizza in someone's driveway on our street, and then go trick or treating.  So, we did that, walked around with Farran's for maybe thirty minutes, then came home and handed out candy.  Our girls LOVE to hand out candy.  I'm pretty sure they enjoy that more than getting actual candy, which is crazy, because they are major candy lovers.  All in all it was a great night!

Fun at the Mall

Every now and then the girls and I go to the mall.  I really am not a huge mall fan.  Partly because of mall shootings in other states.  I know I shouldn't worry about it, and the chance of that happening is super slim, but my mind cannot help but go there.  Every person I see is a weirdo, and I am completely nervous the entire time I am there.  Jaren doesn't understand my thought process haha, but I seriously cannot help it.  Anyhow, this day we went to the mall for lunch and the girls rode on the little animal things.  They love those, but make me nervous that they are going to run into someone or a display!

 Of course we had to go to two different places to eat.  Mac and

cheese from Panera for Addy, and pizza for Hailey.  I was eating

healthy that day and made myself miserable smelling their food haha!

Hailey Gets a Wubble Bubble

Hailey has had her eye on a Wubble Bubble for a long time.  She had watched some YouTube videos on them, and then saved her money for one, and then kept spending it on other things.  Well, she finally went to buy one with her newly earned money.  She was SOOOO excited.  We aired it up, and the girls had a blast playing with it, for all of twenty minutes that it lasted haha!  I kept telling Hailey not to be so rough with it, but she couldn't resist sitting on it, and darn it, the thing got a hole in it.  It has a lifetime warranty, if you pay the $7.95 shipping and handling, so I guess we will eventually do that, we'll see.

Family Hike

We went on a family hike one Friday when Jaren was off.  We didn't really know where we were, and just kind of took an exit on an area where Jaren said he'd heard of before.  According to google, you had to hike the dirt road for quite a ways before coming to the actual hike.  So, we parked the on the side of the road and started walking.  About ten minutes in, this  pick up truck with a couple of guys in it was driving toward us.  We hadn't seen anyone else at this point.  They stopped and asked what we were doing, and were a little suspicious, at least I thought.  Jaren said they were just hunting, but I was freaked out.  They even asked us if we were alone.  I was regretting Jaren not bringing a gun.  Anyhow, so we keep walking.  After a few minutes, we see them stop, and start reversing.  Then they drive away.  Being the nervous nelly that I am, I thought they were going to come looking for us and murder us haha.  I was freaked the entire rest of the hike.  It's a shame I didn't enjoy it  more, because when we got back in there, it was beautiful!!  Hopefully we can go back again, with more people, and armed!!!
