Happenings in December

More random pictures from December and Winter Break...

Addy was queen at preschool and was in charge of bringing
snacks!  I LOVE Pinterest and easy ideas!  These little snowmen
donuts turned out pretty cute, and Addy was so happy to bring them in!

Our Elf!  She didn't do anything spectacular this
year, but the girls loved finding her every morning!

We went to Bass Pro to visit Santa...

Silly Hailey!  This girls LOVES tents!

 Cheese!!!

My cute little shopping buddy!!

Hailey reading to our Elf...so cute!

One morning we woke up to our elf sick, the girls
felt so bad for her!  They wanted to take care of her, it was sweet!

Hailey's December book report.  She loved that
she got to make it on a Santa!  This girly is so good
in school, such a smart cookie!

I'd been craving Kumla for months, and finally made it!
It's not much effort at all when you are only making one pan!
Of course I had to post it on Facebook for the Olson side of the
family to see!!!

Hailey and Addy both got their teacher a small gift for
Christmas.  Addy loved putting the candy in the bag,
and may have snuck a few during the process...Mmmmm!

Look at that cute little face!

Addy was SOOOO excited to come home from
preschool with a gift for Jaren and I that she made!
It was an ornament with her handprint, we LOVE it!

Somebody did the Twelve Days of Christmas to us, and the
girls LOVED it!  They loved going to the door so much every
night, that they started fighting over who got to see the gift
first...lol!  They had so much fun and couldn't wait to hear
the doorbell ring every night!  Next year we plan on
doing it to a family, the girls will love it!!

Elsie and Addy getting ready to
go to pajama day at school!

Chocolate coins from the Twelve
Days of Christmas, this girls favorite!

Ring pops the next day!!

Making salt dough ornaments....

The girls had lots of fun mixing up their very own
dough for making ornaments.

At first it seemed very crumbly, and we didn't
think it was going to stick together, but after a few
minutes of kneading, it eventually became smooth.

Cutting out the shapes was fun!

We ended up making them WAY too thick.  Addy literally
thought we made cookies to eat...haha!  Next time I will need
to remember to roll them very thin!

All done drying out and ready to paint!  Too bad I packed up
all the Christmas stuff and didn't take a picture of them...oops!

Hailey being a sweet big sister and
making Addy lunch ♥♥

Painting cardboard!  These girls love to paint!

 Hailey made a Christmas tree!

The girls doing their exercise video that they love!

Love their choice of workout clothes...haha.  Hailey is
wearing her tumbling clothes, Addy is wearing Hailey's
swimsuit...love the saggy bottom lol!

We invited John and Reagan over to do rice crispy houses.  We
never have good luck with gingerbread houses, they always seem
to fall over right away!  They had tons of fun and went home
all sugared up!  I have to say, rice crispies with vanilla
frosting is DELISH!!!!

Addy, Elsie & Hailey at the temple lights!  It was
freezing and raining!

This was so funny!  Cute little Addy was in the
bathroom looking at herself in the mirror for
like five minutes!  She came out, all serious,
and says to me...."Ummmm mommy, you
know I have quacks (cracks) on the side of
my head, right?"  Haha, she was talking
about the veins on her temple.  So cute!

This doesn't look very appetizing, but it was pretty yummy!
Jaren has been watching lots of westerns, (he is officially an
old man...haha), and he has been wanting meat and
potatoes haha!  He is such a dork!
