Halloween

Halloween has come and gone!  The girls dressed up really cute, I love their choice in costumes.  Addy chose to dress as a bumble bee, and Hailey Pocahontas.  When Hailey discovered it wasn't a "real" Pocahontas costume, she was a bit bummed, but quickly got over it and LOVED her costume.  She looked super cute!  We did the ward Trunk or Treat before Halloween, which was fun!  The night of Halloween, we went to a little block party down the street where we had pizza and homemade root beer.  After that, Jaren and I walked them around the neighborhood.  Last year we only went around the block, but this year we did a couple of more streets.  The girls got a TON of candy.  It was so fun watching them be excited and running up to yell trick or treat!  Halloween is not one of my favorite holidays, and Jaren hates it, but it's still fun to see the girls happy!

Halloween night...

The girls FAVORITE part, handing out candy.  When we got
low, they even got handfuls of their own candy to hand out!

This was Addy ten minutes after we were done for the night...haha!

Addy's Preschool Field Trip

Addy got to go on her first field trip!  She was so happy to have cousin Elsie and her friends to play with at Vertuccio Farms.  It was two hours of fun!  The girls had a blast.

Elsie, Addy & Megan.  Such cuties!

Addy's Four Year Check Up

Addy had her four year check up a few weeks ago.  She did not want to go, at all.  She kept asking if we were going to her eye doctor.  When I told her no, she would ask why we were going to the doctor.  She just didn't want to go at all.  I didn't tell her about the shots, because I was afraid I wouldn't get her through the door!  I felt bad, but the doctor said "you never know which way is better, tell them or surprise them and just do it".  I felt so bad for her.  She cried and cried when I told her it was just a tiny poke!  The first two shots she didn't even cry, she just squeezed me.  The third and last one she cried hard.  Poor thing, it was so sad.  I took her for a slushy right after. Poor thing, and this was the start of her anxiety that she started to have!

Chucky Cheese

A few weeks ago I surprised the girls and took them to Chucky Cheese.  They had tons of fun!  They both LOVE to play the games.  Tokens go so fast though!  They had a bazillion tickets to turn in and I think they got a ring and a piece of candy..haha!
