Christmas was great at the Petersen house! Christmas Eve we had the Brooks side of the family over for the traditional tamale & mexican food potluck dinner. The food was yummy and the kids played & had lots of fun. Christmas day we got up early and the girls opened gifts, then we had the Petersen side of the family over for baked potatoes and chili. The kids played and we exchanged some gifts and did the usual white elephant gift exchange, which is always lots of fun! Overall the holiday season was great. I didn't get to a lot of the things I was going to get to, like fun Christmas crafts I saw on Pinterest, and fun activities with the girls, oh well, maybe next year.
The girls and Santa
at Fiesta Mall. It was so cute, when
they got off his lap, I reminded Hailey to ask him for the castle she
wanted. Last year she was a little
afraid of Santa, but this year she got down to business…haha. She said “Santa, can I have the princess
castle with the bridge and the real drawbridge?” He said he would see what he could do. It was adorable. Couldn’t get a smile out of Addy. Ever since we took away her binky a month
ago, she is always putting her fingers in her mouth, silly girl.
Cousins playing, Nana & Addy's favorite person in the whole world...Aunt Katie!!
Jaren & my dad. The don’t look too happy….haha….even though
they were. The girls looking at
something Missy made, David & Cassi and baby David, and Addy and baby David
playing cars!
Christmas Eve, the girls sprinkling the reindeer food in the grass.
Addy looks like a deer in headlights...haha.
Girls putting grass out for the reindeer. Jaren used to laugh at this, but my
parents always had us do it, and the girls love it!
The girls getting ready to open their Christmas Eve
gift, they were SOOOO excited!
Hailey got a Barbie mermaid & Addy a Dora mermaid. They
have been playing with them in the bath every night since!
I didn't feel like making cookies for Santa, so we talked the girls
into leaving him a healthy snack of carrots, a banana & a juice box.
Gifts under the tree, the girls were sound asleep!
Addy and her Pinkalicious scooter & Hailey and her green machine!
The girls were SOOO excited when they saw these shopping carts.
I can't wait to let them take them to the grocery store with me!
Little Addy LOVES her babies and was so happy to see this
cute little canopy bed that Santa brought her! It's so cute I
want to play with it...haha.
More fun Christmas morning.
Jaren opening something, and my awesome ice cream maker! My
hubby is the best!
Addy had so much fun opening gifts. I LOVE this picture
of Hailey, so cute and silly!
The girls helping Jaren open gifts.
Santa brought more pieces to their doll house! A cute little playground set.
Santa came through and brought Hailey the castle she wanted.
Addy and her super cute triple doll stoller!!
Our Christmas breakfast, sticky buns breakfast ring. Addy was
starving and had to take a break from opening to eat!
Fun playing outside Christmas morning.
Addy was chasing Hailey around all concerned yelling "Hailey
come back"...she was getting pretty annoyed that she wouldn't...haha.
Addy giving it a try & Hailey zooming by!
I was bad and only snapped two pictures during the Petersen
get together. Hailey holding cute little baby Hannah and Grandma & Grandpa.
