Hailey's Cooking Class

A mom in our ward offered a week of cooking classes, so we signed Hailey up.  She LOVED it.  She only went for an hour a day, and it ended up being a great activity for her.  She came home with recipes, and even started a recipe folder for herself.  Hailey loves to help in the kitchen, and I know I need to let her do it more often.  I'm a bit of a control freak haha!  Maybe I'll make that a goal, to let her be more involved with making the meals!  I know she'd love it!  She got to make pretzels, pizza, pigs in a blanket, chocolate pie, cookies and more.

Getting ready to go to her first class.

She was so proud of her pie!

Addy and her skates

Addy skates pretty much every day, sometimes multiple times a day.  Hailey is starting to, since she just got new skates last week with her money.  These girls and their skates!

 Eating breakfast with skates haha.

 Unloading the dishwasher with
skates...yikes.  Luckily most of our
dishes are not glass!

Addy's shirt is my shirt I used to
wear when I was her age ♥♥

Skateland....again!

We went to Skateland again!  We have something called a Pogo Pass, where you get to get in twice a month, for free.  My girls LOVE going.  Unfortunately Hailey was learning a hard lesson about being respectful and didn't get to go this trip.  Man, parenting can be tough.  We took Elsie with us again, and our friends the Farrans came, and Gwen brought Reagan and Hannah.  We will also be going again in another week for a birthday party!  It's a fun place to go to get out of this horrible heat, and the kids get worn out, so bonus!!

Elsie, Addy and Maylee.  I could watch Addy skate
all day, she's just too cute, speeding around the rink
and singing to the music, I love it.

The last two times we went, they had the rink to themselves
for about the first twenty minutes, it was awesome!

Misc Pics

Some random pictures from the week....

 Our little workout girl!

Popsicles & swimming with cousin Elsie!

 Haha...Remi waiting so patiently
to go swimming with the girls.

Hailey posing in her new suit.  This poor
girl has such sensitive skin issues with the
chemicals in the pool and sun.  I probably
should've gotten her a suit with more
coverage long ago.  Hopefully this will help her.

Cute girl!

Making Slime

I want to do so many different projects (thanks to Pinterest) with the girls, but I don't want to spend money on all the things I need for them.  But, they all look so fun!  This day we made homemade "gak", or slime.  The girls had a ton of fun making it.  We added glow in the dark paint, but I think I needed more, because they barley glowed at all.  Addy played with hers for a few days, multiple times a day.  Unfortunately, the blobs of slime started to get super moist and would drip water and start staining the counter, so we had to toss them.  It was still a really fun project though!  I think we might make a homemade volcano next!

Cousin Elsie got to join us!

Krazy Air

Gwen invited us to Krazy Air with them.  That place is pretty expensive to get into, so we don't go too often.  But, it was hot out, and there was nothing else to do, and I love doing activities that keep the kids active.  We stayed an hour, and the kids had lots of fun.  It was so hot when we left, we drove through Sonic for half price slushes. I didn't get too many pictures, because it's hard to get them to sit still when all they want to do is bounce around haha.

 Hannah & Addy.

 Addy taking a little break!

Father's Day

Poor Jaren had to work on Father's Day, and the girls did not like it at all!  We let him sleep in that day, although I'm not sure how he did with all the girls bickering and screaming while they were skating around the house.  We got him a new flashlight, a workout shirt, a new water bottle and of course, See's Candy butterscotch squares, his favorite.  Unfortunately for him, the butterscotch squares are all of our favorites, so he might not get many haha....sorry Jaren!

These little turkeys got the first candy!

We made him breakfast after he worked out,
an omelet, bacon and a protein shake!

Papa and Nana were supposed to come to dinner on Father's Day,
but Nana wasn't feeling very good.  They stopped by two days
later, and the girls got to give Papa his gift.  We bought him a
six pack of IBC Rootbeer and an Applebee's gift card.  These
girls sure love their Nana & Papa!

Addy & Her Music

Addy LOVES to listen to music on the tablets.  She knows the words to so many songs, and even when a song comes on where she doesn't know them, she still tries to sing it, it's so cute!  We love this silly girl!
