Halloween

We had a pretty relaxed Halloween.  The week before, our ward had it's Trunk or Treat party.  We had chili and cornbread, and the kids played games and trick or treated, it was lots of fun.  Then a few days before Halloween, our friends down the street, the Farrans, invited us over for nachos and pumpkin carving.  The food was delicious and we laughed  A LOT!  Okay, maybe just Katelyn and I laughed a lot...lol.  For some reason, we always get the giggles! 

On actual Halloween, we walked a couple of blocks with the Farrans, then we came home and handed out candy.  I swear, our girls like handing out candy to other kids more than getting it!  They have so much fun, and it's funny to hear them say to the other kids "your costume is so cute!".

Fall Festival

The kids almost missed their Fall Festival again, but we decided against going out of town.  Jaren isn't allowed to take off in November or December, so we usually end up going on vacation the last week in October. It's fun, but it means missing the Fall Festival each year, and the ward trunk or treat.  I'm glad we stayed this year!  The girls had lots of fun at their festival.  Addy...poor girl.  She takes SO long to warm up to new situations.  She cried and was scared to go on the bounce house, silly girl.  After a good thirty minutes of warming up to everything, she loved it!  Hailey, of course, had a blast from the get go!  They played games, ate junk, and didn't come home with new pet goldfish like two years prior, so I was happy haha!

Fun at the Children's Museum

We had a Groupon for four at the Phoenix Children's Museum, so we invited cousin John to join us.  Our girls LOVE that place!  We stayed a few hours, and they had a blast.  We got ice cream cones on the way home!  I've been thinking of getting a yearly pass, but it's in Phoenix, so it's a bit of a drive.  Maybe one day!
